UI/UX Designer

We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer for Syncify web application. Syncify makes construction planning accessible and easy. It is a tool that transforms construction project data and visualizes the planning. Syncify is actively used on more than a hundred major construction projects in the United States. The Syncify UI/UX Designer will help facilitate design development, documentation and improve overall user experience to make it more functional, efficient, meaningful, and satisfying.
Full-time & on-site: 400 Park Avenue, NYC
Responsibilities
- Work closely with product manager, and product designers
- Develop aesthetics and design for the application
- Create interactive mockups to test concepts before they are developed, iterating on feedback
- Ensure the design vision is technically feasible and aligns with business goals
- Develop the user story and experience for Syncify with management
- Define how users move through a product, from flows and wireframes to prototypes that map out every step
- Conduct usability tests, and data analysis to understand user behavior
- Ensure that Syncify meets users’ needs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in digital design, visual communication, computer science and technology
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design
- Provide a strong portfolio in UI/UX design
- Experience in technical web applications
- Proficiency in Figma
- Exceptional communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines with confidence
- Experience with user research, usability testing, and translating insights into actionable design solutions
- Strong grasp of information architecture, interactive design, and responsive design principles
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, developers, and stakeholders
- Must be able to work full-time on-site in New York City
