Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Coordinator

New York, New York

We are seeking a Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Coordinator to create visualizations of the construction process to help the Accurise team provide 2D and 3D logistics for our clients. The role is for a visually attuned and organized person with a background in architecture or construction, BIM, and VDC.

We value professionalism and a can-do attitude more than prior experience if the skillset is met, and we’re happy to train the right person who’s eager to contribute and grow.

Full-time: (Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm)

On-site: 400 Park Avenue, New York, New York

Compensation: $60 - 70K, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Translate architectural drawing sets, construction documents, and construction schedule data into 2D and 3D logistics
  • Model buildings using a combo of Revit and Rhino to accurately represent 2D plans and elevations in 3D
  • Assist with internal marketing and graphic design imagery as needed
  • Manage multiple projects at one time with ability to effectively time-manage
  • Meet agreed upon deadlines and self-motivate

 

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s Degree Engineering, Architecture, Design, or Art
  • Curiosity to learn new software/skills.
  • 5 years of experience in an architecture or construction management firm
  • Exceptional communication
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines with confidence
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Rhino, Revit, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop, Twinmotion, Adobe Premiere/After Effects, animation, 3D printing
