Chris Giese is the high-performer that everyone wants to have on their projects. With more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry managing comprehensive large-scale capital projects, Chris is set to play a pivotal role in advancing Accurise's commitment to tackling the challenges of development, design, and construction on behalf of our clients.
Chris has outstanding communication skills and a proven ability to build and lead highly efficient teams, train technical personnel, and convey complex concepts in understandable terms to teams, leadership, and stakeholders.
Chris has a strong background in program development and quality assurance with an outstanding history of managing projects from initial inception, through development, to implementation. He has an exceptional record of bringing mission-critical projects in on schedule and within budget and is especially skilled at strategic planning, budget controls, schedule development and management, and problem resolution.
Chris began his career with Nucor Construction Corporation before joining Northwell Health System in 2012 as the Assistant Vice President for Facilities and Development. He then moved to Urban Atelier Group as a Project Executive, and most recently served as Vice President of Construction Operations at The Vorea Construction Companies. Throughout his distinguished career, Chris has successfully delivered projects totaling over a billion dollars.
Some of Chris' career highlights include:
- Leading the development of multiple key facilities for Northwell Health, including its Corporate Headquarters, Stand-Alone Central Sterilization Facilities, CORE Laboratory Testing facilities, and numerous other critical projects for the Health System.
- Overseeing the construction of new stages N and O at Kaufman Astoria Studios and the New York Headquarters of Bjarke Ingels Group Architects during his time at Urban Atelier Group.
- Directing the construction of new VOREA buildings at 2320 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, and 10-20 Borden Avenue, Long Island City.
