Colin Hofer is a senior consultant and construction management software specialist with experience in engineering, data analytics, and BIM implementation across a variety of disciplines and market sectors.
Colin spent six years at Turner Construction Company's VDC department in their New York office, where he held roles as a VDC Engineer and a VDC Project Manager. Colin provided logistics and visualizations for more than 80 projects including David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, The Spiral at Hudson Yards, 5 World Trade Center, 3 Times Square, 30 Hudson Yards (The Edge NYC), Life Time at One Wall Street, John A. Paulson Center for NYU, and multiple projects for Memorial Sloan Kettering and the John F. Kennedy International Airport.
In his most recent position, Colin worked as a Solutions Engineer for Gryps where he developed integrations with construction software and document management platforms to provide a common data environment for clients.
Colin has joined Accurise to lead our visualizations group with capabilities that include model-based logistics planning and schedule integration. His wide-range of interests from music and architecture to aerospace technology and transportation systems contribute to his unique perspective and approach for the simulation of the built environment.
